Rodolfo (Rudy) is the founder and president of Pathway Services, Inc. a company dedicated to serve government transportation agencies in the field of pavement and road asset management. His company collects and reports automated road condition data required to maximize the use of available resources and extend the useful life of the important transportation assets—our roads.
The company has now grown to provide their services to more than half the state transportation agencies in the United States as well as in other countries.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Production Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.
Rudy and his wife, Lavonne have been married for thirty-six years, and have seven children.
"I will give you ten years to do something with my life," twenty-nine-year-old Rudy Blanco said as he made a deal with God. Rudy had a dream. It was deep desire to own his own business, but he had no means to make it happen. He was just a poor boy from Costa Rica and an unlikely candidate to become the president of his own company. That journey culminated with the creation of his own company one month short of the ten years he gave God to work with. However, after he created his own company he faced a bigger obstacle. He did not have the funds to make it happen. That's when an even more amazing and exciting journey started. How did he do it? That's what this book is about.
